Everyone knows Los Angeles is much more than nature and culture & the list of things to do is as long as the city is vast. If you're a movie buff then theatre and the Hollywood walk of fame & Paramount Picture Studio is a must see. A trip to Disney land can be enchanting and adventurous after all it's the happiest place on earth. If someone's head for L.A, he should never abandon a visit to Disney Land. The legendary park is packed with cool things to do. There're several great rides including The Stomach-Churning Space Mountain  and the epic Indiana Jones Adventure. Outside the theme park, Disney Downtown offers a gigantic range of bars, restaurants and clubs.  

The notable site has been home to bunch of box office hits like 'Titanic', Kung-fu Panda, Mission Impossible and many more. This is the only remaining film studio in the Hollywood area. Also, keep in mind the tour's age restrictions. Studio permit visitors ages 10+. It is a must visit place for authentic Hollywood experience. To visit here you must reserve a spot in advance for guiding tour. You can take a simple tour or VIP tour led by proficient guides.

Rodeo Drive is an upscale shopping street in Beverly Hills that feature designer stores and private boutiques. Few can afford to buy from the array of high-end designers seen in the film Pretty Woman. But don't be afraid to browse most of the people here are sightseers with little intent to purchase anything. Some stores requires appointment for entry. It's free to visit 24 hours a day but the shops and the eateries have different timings. All in all it's a best place.

Santa Monica features a perfect most legendary beach scenes. It is a very walkable part of the town. Visitors explore the area by bicycle. You can spend the day on riding Ferris wheel and playing games. It is one of the most popular family destination. It is open 24 hours a day. Rides costs around 5$ - 10$ with a free entry. Parking here cost around 6$-15$. You can get here by Big Blue bus or riding Metro's Expo line to the Downtown Santa Monica station.

Griffith Observatory features a panoramic view of the surrounding. Although the entry is free, but you will have to pay $3-$7 to watch the planetarium shows. You could easily spend a few hours browsing around the Griffith Observatory without getting bored. Free and paid parking is also available for $4/hour. Griffith Observatory is open from noon to 10 p.m with extended hours on weekends.

Griffith Park is an authentic place to spend some time outdoors. This is the largest urban park in the country. You will also find variety of attraction including Los Angeles Zoo, the Autry Museum, the Hollywood Sign & Botanical Garden. It is open to the public seven days a week from 5 a.m to 10 p.m. Entry is free, but other facilities may charge entry fee.

Venice Beach is 18 miles soutwest of Central LA. It is free to visit 24 hours a day. In the evening, sunset is the most charming thing you will experience here. Though the place is crowded in sunny days but it doesn't affect its beauty. Most people prefer sunbathing instead of swimming. Street parking & parking lots are available, but finding the right place can be hassle at certain times a day. The environment is filled with joy and excitement. Rent a bicycle, grab something to eat and enjoy the sightseeing.

Universal Studious Hollywood is located in Universal City, northwest of Hollywood. It is one of the most popular attraction in Los Angeles. It feature amusements and rides of the most popular scenes from films. It's a best place for kids to meet their favorite cartoon characters like SpongeBob SquarePants, Shrek and many others. Coasters and rides are also available there.

Entry fees are

  • $99-$166 for adults for one day.
  • $93-$110 for children for one day.

Amusement Park is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you're planning a trip to LA, then don't forget to visit this magnificent place. This beautiful outdoor amphitheater has hosted one of the biggest names in music like Madonna, Beatles etc. You may have seen this in many movies though. Many visitors praises everything from the sound quality to comfort offered here. Also don't forget to visit Hollywood Bowl Museum which highlights the Hollywood Bowl history. The best part is, admission to both venues is free. Although parking here is a bit pricey (ranging from $18-$50 depending on the time of your visit so consider arriving early) Buses service is also available from several parks and places.
