Hello, guys as we all know Abu Dhabi is well known for its Oil exports, the shopping megacenters, mosque and richness. So today we are going to talk about top places to visit in Abu Dhabi. So if you’re planning your vacations in Abu Dhabi, then don’t forget to visit places listed below. Did you know? Abu Dhabi occupies about 80% of the total area of UAE which is slightly smaller than Ireland and some other countries. There are some other interesting facts about Abu Dhabi, but I don’t want to get diverted from our main topic.

1. Ferrari World

For those who don’t what it is? It is basically an amusement park located on Yas Island. This place brings the thrill of formula one racing and if the thrill is your thing then it the place for you. At Ferrari World, various events and shows are being held for children as well as elders. Including flying aces, Fiorano GT Challenge, turbo track for elders and for kids – Benno’s Great Race, Junior GT, Tyre Twist and many other entertainment activities are being held. There is also Collection of antique and new cars. Also, You can have a driving experience of some cool cars.

2. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the key place of worship in the country. It is one of the best places to visit in Abu Dhabi. This Mosque has a great impression on the visitor as well as the resident of the country. Formed by the first President of UAE Sheikh Zayed and is marked as his final resting place. Visitors can enter the mosque except during the prayer time. The prayer timing changes every day. So you can visit their official website to know prayer timings. Various guides (English & Arabic) will walk you through the mosque explaining the history and fundamentals of this holy place. There is also a separate place for non-Islamic to worship. The visitors have to wear a traditional dress, those who don’t have they will be provided at the basement for free.

3. Qasr Al-Hosn

Qasr Al-Hosn, also known as the old fort or white fort. The story behind this place is quite interesting and it is  Actually, it was built to defend the only freshwater well in Abu Dhabi but later on, it was expanded into a small fort and became the permanent residence of the of the ruling Sheikh. Currently, this place represents the history of the country as a museum. Plenty of photographs and weapons are displayed reminding the old time of the country. 

4. Yas Waterworld

When it comes to water slides no one can control themselves. So this is one of the best places to visit in Abu Dhabi. Actually, I’m fond of water slides, till now I’ve ridden only once at Banglore but I couldn’t forget those memories and thrills. So if you also love water rides then this is the place you might have been looking. Good news for girls, women’s this place also features Shopping and dining complex. Yas Waterworld has the world’s first hydromagnetic tornado water rafting ride; the world’s largest surfable sheet wave.

5. Emirates Park Zoo

Emirates Park Zoo is the key attraction for tourists from all over the globe and also the residents of UAE. This park has over 1700+ animals including White Tigers, Siberians bears, pairs of Indian elephants and what not. Various activities for school children are held here. There is a different section of animals including Hippo House, Flamingo Park, Giraffe Park, Mammal Cave, Camel Farm, Primate Parade, Reptile House and much more.
